Start the DatabaseFileRecovery SQL Backup Recovery Software on your computer as an administrator.
Click on the Browse Button and choose the BAK file that you want to recover.
Here, you will find two options to manage the SQL backup file(.bak): Single Backup File or Split Backup File(s).
Use the software navigation button to Add or Remove BAK Files in the software
Make sure to enable the Is Selected File(s) Compressed option if your added files are compressed.
The software shows you the two scanning modes:
- Standard Mode: Use this when your SQL backup file is less corrupted.
- Advanced Mode: Utilize it when your SQL backup file is severely corrupted.
Now, browse (...) the saving location where you want to download the resultant files.
You can change the Temporary Path as well if you want to change it. Click Yes.
Click on the Select Extract Files button to continue further for the recovery of your Backup files.
A tab pops up on your screen, displaying the message: Please make sure Temporary and saving Location have free space 3 times of the actual database file(s). Click OK.
Next, you will find the details of the added database, select it, and click OK.
The software displays Backup file information like Server Name, Creation Date, Backup Start Date, Backup Finish Date, Database ID, etc.
Finally, click on the Save button and once your saving process gets completed; click OK.
